MCAGCC Earth Day Celebration and Base Clean-up

The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) will observe the Earth Day celebration during the month of April 2023. The Marines, Sailors and Civilians of MCAGCC engage in Earth Day activities to raise awareness and promote environmental stewardship. Joshua Tree 55 Ride [2023 Mar 2]

The 2023 JT55 is the 6th annual scenic bike ride through Joshua Tree National Park on Saturday, April 29, 2023. The ride will begin at Knott's Sky Park in Twentynine Palms, continuing through Joshua Tree National Park and back to Knott's Sky Park with new distances, routes for road and grave riders, and multiple SAG stops. Enjoy scenic views of Skull Rock, Cap Rock with turn around points at Cap Rock & Key's View. The event will also include raffle prizes and swag bags. The ride starts promptly at 6:00 am from Knott's Sky Park. Rider check-in will take place from 5:00 am to 5:30 am, early check-in is available Friday, April 28, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Twentynine Palms Community Center. *Registration fee includes a t-shirt, entrance into the National Park (for registered riders only) and a boxed lunch. MGACCC Twentynine Palms Program Optimizes Personal Electric Vehicle [2018 DEC 12]

MCAGCC Twentynine Palms established a Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) Charging Program to enable personally-owned electric vehicle use of official government charging stations. This program supports the base's Transportation Incentive Program, which encourages personnel to utilize alternative forms of transit ranging from ride-hailing to public transportation. This pilot also aligns with Mobility Transformation goals of making transportation more efficient and accessible.
